WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ANDY SONG.....If you can't count RMG or AMOUR or IFTM. Better yet, why don't we each choose a new song and an old song?

I'd like to know why you choose the ones you do. Do you just like the sound of them or do they remind you of something happy or sad? Do you have a story that goes with the reason (one you can share @8^)?

I'll reserve my choices until I hear the others.

3 Days In Heaven -- I love this song because I had 3 days in heaven in Tennessee 2004 --
The old song ,man that is so hard.. Ordinary Kind Of Girl and The Essence Of Joan ...Whooo Ordinary Kind Of Girl I have loved it since I got the LP ..And I talked to Andy about it when I saw him at the concert so it is special ...In a ways it makes me think of me ..Not special but I still have something inside ..The Essence Of Joan ...I love the piano and his voice is so wonderful in this song ..Then when you get to the 2 min mark then his voice changes--stronger ! And the intensity in the song gets stronger ...I think I will have to say The Essence Of Joan .. :) Thanks Fran ..Hard challenge though ..

i cant remmber when i first hear that song just know i love it

new one is someday i was listening to andys new cd that song came on just
when my daughter came in and told me that my son had die.
it will be two years this month it was as if andy was there with me when they they told me.
that is why that song means so much to me and one of myfavorite. he has so many to choose from

Awww Jody Sad story but you still have your memories of your wonderful son and Someday will always have a special place in your heart because of your son.
Now to me.. Boy o Boy this is hard. You lot all have the advantage over me because you all got to hear Andy in the early days way before I knew he existed. I now have all his albums and play them a lot and I have to say that FRIEND IN THE CITY is one song that always sticks in my mind. I love it I love Andys voice I love the words they are very meaningful especially to me at the moment. A lost love that you feel you have to let go.

New song.. has to be THIS IS ME . Next to RMG this is my all time favourite of Andys. Brilliant words great beat can listen to this over and over and believe me I have because its Katies favourite as well. Just wish he would release it over here.

I know we cant count it but RMG is my all time favourite song. If I had to be stranded on a desert island the 2 things I would take are my record player and a copy of RMG. (Have to make sure the island had electricity though lol|)

Well......what a fun surprise to pop in and see this fun thread. Wow Fran......no RMG...Amour or IFTM. Although, Andy has written/sang so many wonderful songs it even makes picking a favorite hard. I think from his older songs if I cant pick RMG or Amour............I will pick YOU ARE. That is such a beautiful heartfelt love song. Who wouldn't want to be the girl in that song! It is such a beautiful song of love but yet reminds us how fragil love is and that we need to nourish it. My favorite new song...........HAPPEN AGAIN!! I loved that song from the first time I heard it and I love it more every time I hear it. I love the words......and it works perfectly with the music. When I hear it......I sing it all day long!!!

I can't wait to hear eveyone's favorites. There are so many great ones to pick from!!

It just hit me last night to check what e-mail address I have listed on here and it is my old one ..That is why I am not recieving any notifications at all .But I tried several times last night to chage it and it will not let me ..So I sent a couple of messages to Admin ..I hope that it can be fixed soon ..That would be cool ..

What is so strange is that it lets me use the password to sign in with but when I try to change my e-mail address and password it says that the old password it wrong ???
